Among the buildings acquired is the elegant palace that houses the Borghese Contemporary Hotel, located in the homonymous widening, right in front of the main façade of the famous Palazzo Borghese. In the early 19th century, the Borghese princes entrusted Luigi Canina (1795-1856) with a radical renovation of the palace, to whom we owe the building's current appearance.Principles of balance and discreet refinement

The Borghese Contemporary Hotel is located in Largo della Fontanella di Borghese, few minutes walk from Spanish steps, Via Condotti an Pantheon, in the shopping district, in the heart of Rome.
The elegant building was designed according to the principles of balance and discreet refinement that characterise all the work of the great architect and archaeologist from Piedmont, a trusted architect of the Borghese family, to whom we also owe the propylaeums of the noble entrance to Villa Borghese on the Porta del Popolo side. The current renovation project for the hotel, already historically an ancient inn, cannot fail to take into account the historical and architectural depth of the building that houses it, nor the privileged position in which the building is located.
